Groundwater Flow, Groundwater Geoscience Program Groundwater flow is the movement of water in an aquifer or hydrogeological unit. The dataset shows groundwater flow rate and direction in the hydrogeological unit. Groundwater flow is establish from piezometric surface map. The method used to create the dataset is described in the metadata associated with the dataset. The dataset represents a description of the flow, including rate in m/d, direction, date and source. Typically, the data provided will not be in the form of a shapefile with linked properties but in the form of an image that sketches the groundwater flow. The image could also represent a cross section of the hydrogeologic units showing the regional trends of the groundwater flow. 2014-09-30 2017-07-26 Natural Resources Canada nrcan.gsc-geosciencedata-donneesgeoscience-cgc.rncan@canada.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and TechnologyHydrogeology Groundwater Flow, Groundwater Geoscience Program (English web service)HTML http://gin.gw-info.net/service/api_ngwds:gin2/en/data/standard.download.html?THEME=11&BBOX=-180,30.84375,5.019531,90 Groundwater Flow, Groundwater Geoscience Program (French web service)WMS http://gin.gw-info.net/service/gin/wms/mediator/gin_fr?request=GetCapabilities&version=1.3.0&service=WMS&LAYERS=gw_flow&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/html Groundwater Flow, Groundwater Geoscience Program (English web service)WMS http://gin.gw-info.net/service/gin/wms/mediator/gin_en?request=GetCapabilities&version=1.3.0&service=WMS&LAYERS=gw_flow&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/html Groundwater Flow, Groundwater Geoscience Program (French web service)HTML http://gin.gw-info.net/service/api_ngwds:gin2/fr/data/standard.download.html?THEME=11&BBOX=-180,30.84375,5.019531,90
