Hi, Is there a way to scour through the data using API instead of the metadata? Let's say I want that the dataset in question; i.e, "Temporary Residents Applications Processed Abroad and Processing Times", be limited to the information that I wanted; e.g., specific year + region + processing office. Maybe I missed related information to this in the CKAN and SOLR docs, please point it out to me then. Thanks!

Hello, Currently, CKAN’s API is limited strictly to hosted data and metadata. Since data.gc.ca is using CKAN as a catalog only and data remains hosted by departments, it is not possible to extract a subset of the data from this particular dataset. We are continually looking for ways to improve data.gc.ca so we have forwarded your comment to the dataset provider—the department of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). Thank you for your comment.

When you ask the table to show data for the past 12 months, it gives the date range of October 1, 2013 to September 30, 2013. I assume that this is a typo and that the end date should be September 30, 2014 instead.

Thanks you very much for signaling us this typo, this will be fixed shortly. Thanks. The Open-Ouvert team

To follow up on the conversation thread, is the data actually 2014 or 2013? Was it a typo or did it express the actual year in which the data refers?

The following is a response from the data owner: Thanks for bringing that to our attention. The recent data you’re asking about cover October 1, 2013 through September 30, 2014. We’ve made a correction to the table.
