The JSON API seems to have both development and production data in the feed. The easiest way to find examples is to query for RecallIDs (aka Transport Canada IDs) that starts with 'RA-'. If you remove the first 3 characters, you will find a second RecallID with just the last 7 numbers. A Recall details query using RA-2012014 and 2012014 as examples will yield near identical results, except the former url field will point to a developmental server (http://dev.healthycanadians.gc.ca/) and the latter will not. Their respective start_date and date_published fields also don't jive. Actual API queries to compare are: http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-alert-rappel-avis/api/9034/en and http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/recall-alert-rappel-avis/api/16041/en Really useful APIs that I enjoy using but I thought I'd mentioned the problems I found in the feed.

Thank you for your comment. The following response has been posted on behalf of the data owner : "Thank you very much for bringing this issue to our attention. It is much appreciated! We plan to fix the API later this year as we update the Recalls & Safety Alerts application as part of the web renewal initiative. As there are many contingencies, we cannot give a precise target date for completion at this time."
