Air Pollutant Emissions – Nitrogen oxide emissions by facility, Canada The Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators (CESI) program provides data and information to track Canada’s performance on key environmental sustainability issues. The Air Pollutant Emissions indicators track emissions of six key air pollutants from anthropogenic (human-related) sources. These air pollutants are sulphur oxides, nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds, ammonia, carbon monoxide and fine particulate matter. For each air pollutant, the indicators are provided at the national and provincial/territorial level. They also identify the major sources of emissions and provide links to detailed information on air pollutant emissions from facilities. These indicators are intended to inform decision-makers and the public about progress made toward reducing emissions of key air pollutants and about the effectiveness of emission reduction measures implemented to improve ambient air quality in Canada. Information is provided to Canadians in a number of formats including: static and interactive maps, charts and graphs, HTML and CSV data tables and downloadable reports. See supplementary documentation for data sources and details on how those data were collected and how the indicator was calculated. 2016-05-25 2017-08-16 Environment and Climate Change Canada Nathalie.Trudeau@canada.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentSociety and CultureScience and Technologyenvironmental indicators; air and climate; air pollution; local; emissions; air pollutants; nitrogen oxides; facilitiesAirPollution and WasteFacilityObservation/MeasurementAssess Toxicity; Manage and Monitor for Environmental Presence of Hazardous Substances and WasteMonitor / Assess Substance and Waste Levels in Air; Water; Soil; BiotaNational (CA)Environmental indicatorsAir pollution Virtual globe data (KML/KMZ; 79.6 KB)KMZ http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/cesi_services/KML_Service.ashx?mapid=5&lang=en Virtual globe data (KML/KMZ; 79.6 KB)KMZ http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/cesi_services/KML_Service.ashx?mapid=5&lang=fr Data table (XLS/CSV; 1.51 MB)CSV http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/CESI_Services/DataService/5/en Data table (XLS/CSV; 1.56 MB)CSV http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/CESI_Services/DataService/5/fr Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators – Interactive mapsHTML http://www.ec.gc.ca/indicateurs-indicators/default.asp?lang=En&n=130FFF78-1 Canadian Environmental Sustainability Indicators – Interactive mapsHTML http://www.ec.gc.ca/indicateurs-indicators/default.asp?lang=fr&n=130FFF78-1 Data Sources and MethodsHTML http://www.ec.gc.ca/indicateurs-indicators/default.asp?lang=en&n=9BCF9DCB-1 Data Sources and MethodsHTML http://www.ec.gc.ca/indicateurs-indicators/default.asp?lang=Fr&n=9BCF9DCB-1 Interactive indicator mapHTML http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/indicators-indicateurs/?lang=en&mapID=5 Interactive indicator mapHTML http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/indicators-indicateurs/?lang=fr&mapID=5 Nitrogen oxide emissions by facility, Canada – RESTESRI REST http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/ArcGIS/rest/services/CESI_FGP_All_Layers/MapServer/19 Nitrogen oxide emissions by facility, Canada – RESTESRI REST http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/ArcGIS/rest/services/CESI_FGP_All_Layers/MapServer/27 Nitrogen oxide emissions by facility, Canada – WMSWMS http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/arcgis/services/CESI_FGP_All_Layers/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&layers=1&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/html Nitrogen oxide emissions by facility, Canada – WMSWMS http://maps-cartes.ec.gc.ca/arcgis/services/CESI_FGP_All_Layers/MapServer/WMSServer?request=GetCapabilities&service=WMS&layers=1&legend_format=image/png&feature_info_type=text/html
