Hello,

I am undertaking benchmarking work in the oil and gas industry, but the most recent tabular data uploaded is only for calendary year 2014. 2015 calendar data is available from the online query tool but cannot be downloaded in bulk. Can you please make the 2015 tabular data available? If not, would it be possible to get a pre-release copy.

Regards,
Sam Nelson

Hi Sam, as noted in the comments above, if you can’t find the data you're looking for or have further comments, please contact the NPRI team directly at ec.inrp-npri.ec@canada.ca. Best wishes,
Karin - open-ouvert team

HI, how can I access data from 2006 in excel file ?

Hi Emmanuelle - as noted in the comments above, if you can’t find the data you were looking for or have further comments, please contact the NPRI team at ec.inrp-npri.ec@canada.ca. Best wishes,
Karin - open-ouvert team

Bonjour !

The data set is large, and dates back to the early 90's, both of which is great, from an open data perspective. I wish, however, that I did not need to dig so deeply to find the data earlier than 2013. Providing direct links to only the last 2 years seems silly, if we're looking for trends.

Thanks for the feedback, Mike. Our bulk data files (http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/40e01423-7728-429c-ac9d-2954385ccdfb) or aggregated 5 year data sets (http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/ea0dc8ae-d93c-4e24-9f61-946f1736a26f) would likely be more appropriate for trend analysis. We recognize that many people prefer the single year excel format and we plan to investigate ways to produce this more efficiently so we can offer more years of data in this format in the future.

Thanks, NPRI Team

Hello, I am still looking for the Single Year Tabular Format for at least the last 5 years, 2010,2011,2012...I wonder when would that be able to publish?
I remember there used be have Access Database with all the downloadable data files. Why I cannot find them any more? If you cannot publish more of the Single Year Tabular Format, at least I can work with the old data.

Stephanie,
Thanks for your comment. We have forwarded it to the dataset owner. You may also wish to contact Environment Canada directly at the email noted in the comment above (ec.inrp-npri.ec@canada.ca) to expedite your request.

Best wishes, Karin - the Open-Ouvert team

Hi Stephanie,
As noted above, we have restructured some of our data products. You can now find files that contain all the historical data for Releases, Disposals, Transfers for recycling or treatment, Comments, and Facility Locations (from 1993 to 2014) on our Bulk Data page: http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/40e01423-7728-429c-ac9d-2954385ccdfb These are all in list format so they are optimized for pivot table analysis.

We also have sets of data that cover the most recent five years, aggregated by province, substance and industry code available here: http://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/ea0dc8ae-d93c-4e24-9f61-946f1736a26f

If you are having trouble finding what you need in the above products, or have further comments please let us know. (Email: ec.inrp-npri.ec@canada.ca.)

In the past I could download a file and work with it - I have now spent 30 minutes on your revised site and still cannot find the data I require to download - why did you make this more confusing and convoluted?

Thank you for your feedback. We have forwarded your comment to the dataset provider for their response.
Best regards, the Open Government Team

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the feedback. We have restructured some of our data products to use non-proprietary formats so some things have moved around from where they have been in the past. Also, we have several new data products this year which will soon be published the GC Open Data Portal. This page on our program website has links to all the NPRI data available for download via the Open Government Portal and will be updated with links to the new products once they are available: http://www.ec.gc.ca/inrp-npri/default.asp?lang=en&n=0EC58C98-
The new structure will be more permanent going forward but we are still open to suggestions for improvements. If you still can’t find the data you were looking for or have further comments, please contact us at ec.inrp-npri.ec@canada.ca.
