Hi there,

Is it possible as a researcher of an academic institution to get more data beyond what is here from the government on asylum claims for 2017? Is there a way to request more data or more information? Thank you.

Thank you for your comment Sarah. You may be able to obtain more information by submitting a request to IRCC for custom data, please email the Statistics-Statistiques@cic.gc.ca mailbox with a detailed description of your request.

Hello, I am Ahmad, a Syrian refugee in northern Iraq, and I am looking for someone to help me. I come to Canada. We live in difficult living conditions. I hope you will help. We fled the war in Syria. We have destroyed our house. We need safety and a decent life.

Could please IRCC provide a more comprehensive table that includes historical asylum claims by citizenship, and not only for the Top 10 files? In including citizenship information only for the Top 10 countries files, the historical evolution of other national groups who claim asylum in Canada, but aren't now part of the top 10, is totally lost. Many thanks.
