The transformation of Human Resources (HR) and pay for the Government of Canada into an integrated, flexible, and modern ecosystem is a complex challenge. To support these activities, Human Capital Management (HCM) has developed a strategy centred around four pillars: HR, pay, data, and management.
To address challenges in the data pillar, the HCM Data Strategy describes the needs for processes, standards, and rules to govern HR and Pay data. The four key streams – delivery and alignment, accountabilities, data management, and enabling trust – allow trustworthy, high-quality data to easily move throughout the organization, enabling improved insights, decision-making, and more streamlined business processes.
