The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is in the process of developing a national body-worn camera (BWC) program as part of its proposed Digital Evidence Management initiative, for deployment across Canada. The Government of Nunavut, with support from the Government of Canada and the RCMP in Nunavut (“V” Division), expressed interest and were in a state of readiness to begin a BWC pilot in Iqaluit. Several outcomes were measured as part of this pilot project to evaluate the approach and inform the broader BWC roll-out.
