Trade names for biopesticides Biopesticides are grouped into three main categories, namely: * microbial agents: microorganisms (bacteria, algae, fungi, protozoan, viruses, mycoplasma or rickettsia and similar organisms) as well as all toxins and metabolites produced by them; * ecomones: chemical substances carrying information produced by a plant or by an animal or synthetic analogs of these substances, which elicit a behavioral response in individuals of the same species or other species; * unconventional products. The application of biopesticides is authorized inside or outside daycares and elementary or secondary schools (Pesticide Management Code, arts. 32 and 33). This list, made available for the purposes of applying this requirement, indicates the type of product, its registration number, its trade name, the active ingredient (s) it contains and the class to which it belongs under the Regulation Respecting Permits and Certificates for the Sale and Use of Pesticides.
