Radon and Thoron Data From Canadian Homes Radon (Rn-222) is the second leading cause of lung cancer after tobacco smoking. It can easily move through small spaces in soils and other materials, allowing it to enter buildings and accumulate to levels that can pose a health risk. Health Canada recommends that all Canadians test their home for radon and remediate if levels are higher than 200 becquerels per cubic meter (Bq/m³). In order to better understand the risk to Canadians from exposure to radon and thoron, the National Radon Program (NRP) conducted an indoor residential measurement survey in 2012-2013 to gather information on radon and thoron levels across the Census Metropolitan Areas (CMA) in Canada. 2018-07-23 2018-12-07 Health Canada open-ouvert@tbs-sct.gc.ca Health and SafetyNational Radon ProgramBq/m³radonRn-222thoronRn-220CMACensus Metropolitan Areasurveyrandom digit dialinghomesradon measurement Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DataCSV http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/radon-thoron.csv Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DataXLS http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/radon-thoron.xlsx Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DictionaryDOC http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/data-dictionary.docx Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DictionaryDOC http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/dictionnaire-donnees.docx Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DescriptionDOC http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/description-en.docx Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DescriptionDOC http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/description-fr.docx Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DictionaryTXT http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/data-dictionary.txt Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DictionaryTXT http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/dictionnaire-donnees.txt Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DescriptionTXT http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/description-en.txt Radon and Thoron Data From Metropolitan Canadian Homes - DescriptionTXT http://health.canada.ca/apps/open-data/radon-thoron/description-fr.txt Radon / Thoron Survey in Canadian Metropolitan AreasHTML https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/environmental-workplace-health/radiation/radon/radon-thoron-survey-canadian-metropolitan-areas.html Radon / Thoron Survey in Canadian Metropolitan AreasHTML https://www.canada.ca/fr/sante-canada/services/sante-environnement-milieu-travail/radiation/radon/etude-radon-thoron-regions-metropolitaines-canadiennes.html Health Canada Radon Landing PageHTML http://canada.ca/radon Health Canada Radon Landing PageHTML http://canada.ca/le-radon
