Requests and appeals processed The dataset represents the __Requests and appeals processed__ between January 1 and December 31. In particular, the CNESST is responsible for enforcing the Labour Standards Act (LNT). This law aims to regulate working conditions in Quebec and applies to all workers, regardless of where they perform their work. The CNESST monitors the implementation and application of labour standards. A worker who believes that their employer is not complying with one of the conditions set out in the LNT may file a complaint (request) with the CNESST: - related to salary or other amounts provided (pecuniary) - for prohibited practice - for dismissal without just and sufficient cause - for psychological or sexual harassment - administrative - for disparity in working conditions A “complaint file” is called “processed appeal” when its processing has been finalized.
