Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality: Guideline Technical Document – Carbofuran Carbofuran is degraded in soil by hydrolysis, microbial action and, to a lesser extent, photo-decomposition. Its persistence is dependent upon pH, soil type, temperature, moisture content and the microbial population.
