Canopy of the six CMAs of Quebec 2022

Canopy of the six CMAs of Quebec 2022 The canopy is defined by the projection on the ground of the crown (crown) of trees (including leaves, branches and trunk), which is visible from the sky. Any vegetation with a height greater than 2 m was taken into account. The mapping of the canopy was carried out by deep learning methods, based on variables (1 m resolution) calculated from airborne lidar raw data. It covers Quebec's six census metropolitan areas (CMAs): Gatineau, Montréal, Québec, Saguenay, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières. The production of these data was coordinated by the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) and carried out by the forest remote sensing laboratory of the Centre d'Enseignement et de Recherche en Forestry de Sainte-Foy (CERFO). NOTE: Canopy height per pixel is available in raster files that you can download (see the data download guide in the “Documentation” section).**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2022-08-25 Government and Municipalities of Québec geomatique@inspq.qc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Download links per sheet 1/20,000CSV https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4/resource/6c33d647-a577-47d7-9258-78d41089651e/download/index_20k_rmr_canopee.csv Mapping the canopy of the Gatineau CMA in vector formatFGDB/GDB https://dq-prd-bucket1.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/inspq/canop_gatineau.gdb.zip Mapping the canopy of the Montreal CMA in vector formatFGDB/GDB https://dq-prd-bucket1.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/inspq/canop_montreal.gdb.zip Mapping the canopy of the Quebec City CMA in vector formatFGDB/GDB https://dq-prd-bucket1.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/inspq/canop_quebec.gdb.zip Mapping the canopy of the Saguenay CMA in vector formatFGDB/GDB https://dq-prd-bucket1.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/inspq/canop_saguenay.gdb.zip Mapping the canopy of the Sherbrooke CMA in vector formatFGDB/GDB https://dq-prd-bucket1.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/inspq/canop_sherbrooke.gdb.zip Mapping the canopy of the Trois-Rivières CMA in vector formatFGDB/GDB https://dq-prd-bucket1.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/inspq/canop_troisrivieres.gdb.zip Interactive map of the canopy in the Gatineau CMAHTML https://cartes.inspq.qc.ca/geoportail/?context=amenagements_territoire&zoom=10¢er=-75.93030,45.67634&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=6aeaab708186667ada730ce90621c9c5,carte_gouv_qc Interactive map of the canopy in the Montreal CMAHTML https://cartes.inspq.qc.ca/geoportail/?context=amenagements_territoire&zoom=10¢er=-73.87261,45.59098&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=60326d5054f082e59883c2585182f1fc,carte_gouv_qc Interactive map of the canopy in the Quebec City CMAHTML https://cartes.inspq.qc.ca/geoportail/?context=amenagements_territoire&zoom=10¢er=-71.57771,46.91492&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=0d554e3960690d067280453e5c735e7a,carte_gouv_qc Interactive map of the canopy in the Saguenay CMAHTML https://cartes.inspq.qc.ca/geoportail/?context=amenagements_territoire&zoom=10¢er=-71.23347,48.47836&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=add5b925abf104bc5c5cda6206c19c36,carte_gouv_qc Interactive map of the canopy in the Sherbrooke CMAHTML https://cartes.inspq.qc.ca/geoportail/?context=amenagements_territoire&zoom=10¢er=-72.21006,45.40421&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=2d1de4d9f3e4cda78d3efbe662c4eecf,carte_gouv_qc Interactive map of the Trois-Rivières CMA canopyHTML https://cartes.inspq.qc.ca/geoportail/?context=amenagements_territoire&zoom=11¢er=-72.68138,46.3595&invisiblelayers=*&visiblelayers=f8a35aafc77939b839185bb15293ba99,carte_gouv_qc Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4 Methodological reportPDF https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4/resource/09155478-3b52-4865-bda4-3ad4189fe0a5/download/rapport-metho-canopee-rmr-inspq-cerfo.pdf 2022 Canopy of the Six Quebec CMAs - Description of VariablesPDF https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4/resource/dffa63ec-ee1d-4bef-916c-fe4644c42f24/download/canopee_rmr_descriptionvariables.pdf User Guide — Data DownloadPDF https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4/resource/4e7b90ec-7953-4278-8400-28af12565de3/download/guide-utilisation-telechargement.pdf Download links per sheet 1/20,000SHP https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4/resource/c39262db-f4fe-4d1e-866f-a426c50fbcb5/download/index_20k_rmr_canopee.zip Production MetadataSHP https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/b90d077d-5df7-47b1-90c7-00c323ac25a4/resource/197667da-6212-447b-80bb-7aea4aa09641/download/metadonnees_production.zip
