Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality: Guideline Technical Document – Diazinon
Diazinon (C12H21N2O3PS) is an organophosphorus insecticide used for the control of soil and household insect pests, as well as sucking and chewing insects and mites on a wide variety of crops. It is also used as an animal ectoparasiticide. The maximum acceptable concentration (MAC) for diazinon in drinking water is 0.02 mg/L (20 µg/L).
