BC Treaty Commission Annual Report 2020
The report focuses on two key milestones that have been achieved over the past year; Bill 41, the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act, which came into force in British Columbia on November 28, 2019 (Bill 41); and Canada’s forgiveness of all outstanding comprehensive claim negotiation loan debt, finalized in March 2020.
