T1 Filing Compliance is a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) publication, which presents data about returns that were filed late or on time. The returns are grouped by demographic, geographic, and economic characteristics.

This edition of T1 Filing Compliance presents data based on income tax and benefit returns for the 2016 tax year. Initial assessment values were used to produce the tables. Any changes resulting from reassessments are not included; therefore, statistics in this publication are subject to change.

The corporate statistical tables provide key tax and accounting information as of June 30, 2023, for all T2 returns that were assessed or reassessed for corporations with tax years that end within the 2016 to 2021 calendar years. These tables are released yearly.

The Canada Workers Benefit (CWB) statistics present data based on the information that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) collected and processed for all individual CWB recipients for the 2020 tax year.

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA): The Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) statistics tables present data based on all of the individual records and summary returns sent by financial institutions (issuers) to the CRA for the 2020 tax year and processed up to January 17, 2022.

The Goods and Services Tax/Harmonized Sales Tax (GST/HST) credit statistics present data based on the information that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) collected and processed for all individual recipients for the 2021-2022 benefit year, which covers the period from July 2021 to June 2022.

The SR&ED statistical tables provide key tax and accounting information as of September 30, 2022. The tables include select information from all T2 returns that were assessed or reassessed for corporations with tax years ending in years 2014 to 2020.

The Canada child benefit (CCB) statistics presents data based on the information that the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) collected and processed for all individual recipients for the 2021–2022 benefit year which covers the period from July 2021 to June 2022. The reports contain four tables.
