This report details Global Affairs Canada’s implementation of the Avoiding Complicity in Mistreatment by Foreign Entities Act (ACMFEA) in 2022. The report was shared with the Minister of Foreign Affairs in February 2022, as required by section 7(1) of the act.

The evaluation aimed to determine the extent to which the CTA, run by 12 missions internationally, is relevant, efficient and effective in supporting growth of Canadian small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). 

This evaluation examines Global Affairs Canada’s Business Women in International Trade (BWIT) initiative, and aims to highlight strengths and gaps in BWIT’s objectives, resources and delivery of services.
