A total of 17 AMT stations were occupied along an southwest-northeast profile crossing known mineralized zones. The profile position was designed to image known mineralized zones along the WAS-4 seismic profile, located south of the Cluff Lake mine.

The GLIMPCE Great Lakes seismic experiment was conducted in 1986. It was a wide-angle seismic refraction experiment with data recorded by various research groups using fixed stations on land. The sources were air-gun sources fired from a moving ship.
