This dataset is taken from a technical report prepared for the Ontario Ministry of Infrastructure. It provides a background to the review of the population and employment forecasts in the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe.

Safety Performance Functions allow the Ministry of Transportation to analyze different elements of the Ontario highway network. They can be used in applications such as screening for underperforming areas, and evaluating the social and financial benefits of different highway improvements.
