Canadian Drug Product Database for BlackBerry®

Drug and medication data on the go. Health Canada's Drug Product Database stored on your BlackBerry® for quick and easy access for the informed consumer and health professional. It maintains accurate and reliable licensed data from Health Canada. There are over 40,000 active and discontinued drug records furnished by Health Canada.

Search by Drug Identification Number (DIN) and Anatomical Therapeutical Chemical (ATC). Quickly perform an advanced search by company, product name, active ingredient, active ingredient group number, route(s) of administration, dosage(s) , form(s), and schedule(s). Search for drugs with matching Active Ingredient Group (AIG) Number.

Bookmark searches of individual drugs for quick recall and reference. Then the drug name and information is readily available for medical appointments, forms or medical emergency situations.

Conveniently accesses product monographs (where available) straight from your BlackBerry®.   This database contains pertinent information about drugs approved for usage in Canada. Also, included in this database is information on human pharmaceutical and biological drugs, veterinary drugs, and disinfectant products.
