I would like to see examples of the actual "open and Transparent Government" the Liberals spoke of during their election. Another election promise broken by the Liberals it seems!!!!!! "We’re building Canada’s next two-year action plan on open government. The plan will include a series of commitments for transparent and accountable government." Don't think so!!!!!!!

While we can and understand that some material is and should be classified, more attention must be made to an open discussion with all Canadians. Most Governments seem to think they know what is best for all, but all to often they are out of touch. I feel that all elective persons should be for a limited term, say 6 years, then they must be replaced with a new elected official. This way new ways and thoughts will be brought forward. To often the older elected officials are out of touch with what is happening, they are only interested in being re=elected.

Hi Florence, I'm sorry that this has been your experience. What would you like to see? If people are looking for examples, this plan will build on Canada's Third Biennial Plan to the Open Government Partnership: https://open.canada.ca/en/content/third-biennial-plan-open-government-partnership. We publicly track our progress against the 22 commitments in that plan here: https://open.canada.ca/en/commitment/tracker. The plan, our progress, and our self-reporting are all independently reviewed: https://www.opengovpartnership.org/countries/canada. Regards, Kent on behalf of the Open Government team
