Appropriate time and resources to make the lives of the Canadian Veterans who served there country to make Canada a safe and secure place to live. Homeless and at risk Veterans must be identified and offered assistance both financially and medically by whatever means in necessary. On line contact is not an appropriate method of identifying those in need. Service workers are needed in Cities and communities to seek out the Veterans and offer them the much needed help.
Reassess the Medical Pension program and eliminate the cash payout in favor of monthly pensions. Lump sum payments created two classes of veteran, one with a monthly pensions and one who needed to invest his payment to achieve a monthly pension. Data should reveal that in a climate of low interest rates this would be impossible to compare
