Request Summary: Records concerning the relevant operational guidelines, instructions or manuals regarding: what the values photo/fingerprints stand for in the FOSS/GCMS personal details screen, where the biometric data referred to in these fields is stored including the specific database number and whether stored internally within Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) or externally. Additionally, what are the retention periods for fingerprints captured by the CBSA at ports of entry from foreign nationals or permanent residents (non-asylum) when being served a: departure orders, exclusion orders, a deportation orders or an A44 report. Further, the retention periods for each database where these fingerprints may be stored-internally with CBSA or with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and whether the fingerprints are stored digitally or in another format.
