Request Summary: R216, RG85, Accession number: 1997-98/605 GAD, Box number: 41, File number: N-7740-346-1. I am looking for documentation of environmental accidents at the Faro Mine, a now-abandoned lead-zinc mine in Yukon, initially operated by Cyprus Anvil Mining. In the end, the final owner of the mine went bankrupt and Canada and Yukon are now responsible for the site. The site had about a dozen environmental accidents related to leaks and spills between 1967 and 1975.
