Request Summary: Based on all cases made to the Immigration Division of the IRB, how many inadmissibility hearings between 2010 (January 1) to Present (2024 May 9th) was section 37(1)(a) of the IRPA been raised as a potential grounds of inadmissibility? This is the provision for inadmissibility for membership or association with a criminal organization. Of those instances, how many times was the individual found to be inadmissible pursuant to section 37(1)(a)? This can include cases where someone is found inadmissible pursuant to section 37(1)(a) concurrently with another provision. How many times was the individual found inadmissible pursuant to a different provision in the IRPA other than section 37(1)(a)? And how many times was the individual not found inadmissible at all?
