Request Summary: Please could you tell me how much Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has spent on housing asylum seekers, asylum claimants or refugees (I use these terms to cover all stages of their status) who have come to Canada from October 1, 2021 to April 5, 2024. Please could you specify the month, the amount spent, the location (city/municipality and province) and where they were housed - specifying whether the accommodation was a hotel, an apartment, or other.
