Request Summary: 1. Please could you provide me with statistics for the number of Afghan citizens who have been removed from Canada since 2001 after their applications for refugee status or asylum in Canada, or immigration through another route, were rejected since 1st January 2002. 2. Please also provide me with the number of Afghans (residents of Afghanistan) whose applications for asylum or refugee status in Canada have been rejected since 1 January 2002 and whose cases are pending appeal or in the process of appeal. 3. Please also provide me with statistics relating to the number of Afghans who are currently facing deportation but have not yet been removed from the country. 4. Please specify any minors (ie. under the age of 18) in each category and the reason for their removal from the country. 5. Please provide me with documents, communications or emails relating to any policy changes relating to the removal of Afghan citizens (including those facing deportation after failed applications for refugee status) from Canada from May 2021 to the (August 30, 2021).
