Request Summary: We are looking to create a dataset including the number of applications received and the number of applications approved/refused by IRCC in 2019 (temporary, permanent residence, and citizenship applications), as well as the same number from January 2020 to the end of August 2020. We would also like to have this data categorized based on visa offices abroad and in Canada, and type of applications, such as visitor visa, study permit, work permit, express entry, start-up visa, PNP, self-employed, and so on. If available, we would also appreciate having any data regarding the subcategory of each application. For example, we would like to see the level of study requested by applicants for study permits or types of work permits that were applied, such as Global Talent Stream, low-wage, and open work permits. We have the same request for permanent residency applications.
