Request Summary: I would like to request any background documentation and briefing material that helped construct speeches delivered by former Ministers of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney and former Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Chris Alexander themselves, as well as official statements and news releases delivered and/or posted on official government websites on their behalf, with regard to Bill-C-31 An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Balanced Refugee Reform Act, the Marine Transportation Security Act and the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act. Please include, but do not limit to, the supporting materials for speeches, statements and news releases regarding the Designated Countries of Origin Policy in particular. Please specify which speech, statement or news release the documents are referring to. Please provide the documents in CD, paper or electronic/email copies (whatever format is easier). Please limit to English if multiple languages are available. Include only final drafts of documents and last complete email chains. Remove non-relevant information without applying exemptions and identify them as not relevant. Remove materials that are an account of a possible or actual Cabinet confidence
