Request Summary: According to IRCC's Glossary on its Help Centre section (https://www.canada.ca/en/services/immigration-citizenship/helpcentre/glossary.html#emedical), the department uses a tool called "eMedical" as: An online tool that doctors approved by IRCC to do medical exams use to record and send Immigration Medical Exam (IME) results to IRCC. It is more accurate, convenient and faster than paper-based processing. We would like to receive information about the eMedical tool pertaining to: 1) its operation, i.e. how does it work from the point of view of IRCC officers who need to access and verify those results; 2) an overall description of the tool in further detail 3) screenshots of the system; 4) information about the consent given by applicants to have their information being shared with IRCC through this tool and 5) the name of the company which developed the eMedical software.
