Request Summary: Luke Dillon, prisoner D294 at Kingston Penitentiary between May 1900 and July 1914. Also from the same record group the inmate case files of John Nolan/Nolin/Noland (prisoner D296, May 1900 - 1916) and John Walsh/Welsh (prisoner number unknown, May 1900 - his death in 1907). The inmate case files are in RG No.: 73, Series: C - Penitentiary Branch, Inmate Case Files, 1900-1964, Accession No.: 1992-93/158, Boxes 1-200. As the finding aid 73-42 is restricted I cannot be more specific. These three men were Fenians imprisoned for a dynamite attack on the Welland Canal during the South African War.
