Request Summary: Please provide all documents from July 13, 2020, to the present (November 2, 2020), respecting (1) the motions considered by the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics in July 2020 concerning records of speaking engagements by members of the Trudeau family, (2) the motion adopted by the Committee on July 23, 2020, concerning a study of the avoidance of conflicts of interest, (3) the motion considered by the Committee in July 2020 concerning communications between ministers and the WE organization, (4) the request for the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion and the Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth to appear before the Committee, (5) preparations for, and follow-up to, the Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion’s appearance before the Committee on August 11, 2020, (6) preparations for, and follow-up to, the Minister of Diversity and Inclusion and Youth’s appearance before the Committee on August 11, 2020, and (7) preparations for, and follow-up to, Benoit Robidoux’s appearance before the Committee on August 11, 2020. Also provide, respecting the motions considered by the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics in July 2020, (1) the request for the Prime Minister to appear before the Committee, (2) the request for the Clerk of the Privy Council to appear before the Committee, (3) the request for the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff to appear before the Committee, (4) the deadline extension granted by the Committee to Speakers’ Spotlight for providing records concerning speaking engagements by members of the Trudeau Family, (5) preparations for, and follow-up to, the Clerk of the Privy Council’s appearance before the Committee on August 12, 2020, and (6) the motion considered by the Committee in October 2020 concerning records of speaking engagements by members of the Trudeau family. Please exclude memoranda to Cabinet and aides-memoire for Cabinet consideration; Treasury Board submissions; speaking notes or decks for presentations to Cabinet or its committees; briefing notes and covering memoranda concerning records in mention to be excluded; duplicate copies of e-mails (i.e., exclude earlier messages in a thread of e-mails if a later message contains the earlier message(s)); publicly available versions of government documents (i.e., do not exclude drafts of those documents); the French version of documents which are equally available in each official language; and copies of draft legislative texts.
