Request Summary: Currently, the average processing time for DR2s is 50 months as posted online by IRCC (as of July 2024).Requesting records on the average number of months between the time of submission of Protected Persons in Canada's applications for Permanent Residence, and the landing of their overseas dependents (''dependents of refugee''; DR2s). Specifically with respect to Protected Persons who were landed in Canada in each of: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Essentially, requesting to know what the average processing time was for this category for each of the years listed above; we know that the information exists because it is posted online by IRCC and updated regularly.
