Request Summary: Whereas ‘a plant for the manufacture of a product from uranium, thorium, or plutonium’ is a Class IB nuclear facility. Whereas Canadian Nuclear Laboratories recently completed refueling at least one SLOWPOKE reactor. Whereas nuclear fuel is a product of uranium, thorium, or plutonium. Lemma: A nuclear facility was required by CNL to complete the manufacture of nuclear fuel. Now therefore, I request the ‘final safety analysis report demonstrating the adequacy of the design of the nuclear facility’ submitted as part of the licence to operate the Class IB nuclear facility that produced the product of uranium, thorium, or plutonium that was used by CNL to refuel the SLOWPOKE reactors in Canada. Furthermore, the Commission is requested to include any amendments to the ‘final safety analysis report demonstrating the adequacy of the design of the nuclear facility’ in the last five calendar years.
