Request Summary: Purpose of request: 1) to obtain a copy of the agreement (contract terms) relating to an Order-In-Council approval approving the purchase of a canal right-of-way that traverses part of Sections 7 and 8 of T2-R27-W4M near Mountain View Alberta, being an agreement between the Government and Smith Bros. &/or S.B. (Seymour Bicknell) Smith. 2) to obtain notes, memos, or correspondence about or between the Smiths and the Government that resulted in the purchase of the canal right-of-way referred to above. 3) to obtain subsequent notes, memos, or correspondence or agreements about of with B. Travers Smith or Travers Smith Ranch Limited relating to the canal right-of-way traversing section 8-2-27-W4M during 1946-1966.
