Request Summary: Provide the following statistical information covering the period between June 21, 2019 and April 30, 2021 (table columns): Number of PRRA applications that have been received; Number of PRRA applications that have been approved; Number of PRRA applications that have been refused; and Number of PRRA applications that are still in progress. Please break these statistics down into the following categories (table rows): 1. PRRAs of persons who were deemed ineligible for refugee determination at the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) under s. 101(1)(c.1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA); 2. PRRAs of persons who were deemed ineligible for refugee determination at the IRB under ss. 101(1)(a), (b), (c), (d) or (e) of the IRPA; 3. PRRAs of persons who were deemed ineligible for refugee determination at the IRB under s. 101(1)(f) of the IRPA and who applied for a PRRA with a limited scope under s. 112(3) of the IRPA; 4. PRRAs of persons whose claim for refugee protection has been denied, withdrawn or abandoned; 5. PRRAs of persons who applied for a PRRA before removal from Canada and who had not made a previous claim for refugee protection; 6. PRRAs of persons who made a previous PRRA application but were denied and made a subsequent PRRA application under s. 165 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. If you cannot provide numbers, please provide approval/refusal/in progress rates (in percentage) for each type of PRRA listed above.
