Request Summary: In 2002, Member of Parliament Robert Anders wrote two letters to then Foreign Affairs Minister John Manley related to: 1. interference from members of the Chinese embassy who harassed legal demonstrations against human rights abuses in China, seriously breaching diplomatic protocol. and, 2. an incident where MP Anders was pushed, shoved, and insulted, in the House of Commons corridors, by personnel from the Chinese embassy. Seeking copies of Mr. Anders letters, responses from Mr. Manley or other members of Foreign Affairs, and documentation of any investigations, discussions with or sanctions of members of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China.
