Request Summary: I am seeking access to all relevant statistics pertaining to the utilization of the Public Policy established by IRCC for Iranian nationals in 2023 and extended in 2024. Specifically, I am interested in obtaining information regarding the number of Iranian nationals who have availed themselves of the provisions outlined in the said policy up to the present date, which is June 2024. The information I am requesting includes, but is not limited to, the following categories: For Iranian temporary residents in Canada, who are exempt from application or biometric fees when applying for: 1) Extension of current temporary resident status in Canada. 2) Change of temporary resident status (e.g., from visitor to worker). 3) Additional open work permit or study permit. For Canadian citizens and permanent residents living in Iran, who can apply for the following documents free of charge: 1) Limited validity Canadian passport. 2) Canadian citizenship certificate. 3) Permanent resident travel document. I kindly request that the information be provided in a format that allows for easy comprehension and analysis, preferably in electronic form.
