Request Summary: In a lawsuit brought by Appian Corporation (“Appian”) against Pegasystems in the United States, Pegasystems was found in 2022 to have violated the Virginia Computer Crimes Act and found liable for the misappropriation of Appian trade secrets (the “lawsuit”). The purpose of this request is to obtain a copy of a letter sent by the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions of Canada to certain Pegasystems customers asking them about the existence of risk as a result of the lawsuit. We hereby formally request a copy of this letter.
