Request Summary: I am looking for the file for Shinkuro Kozai. His card is on the Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property, reel c9301, card 0812. The case # on Mr.Kozai's card is #13192, which is, according to the finding aid, is on reel c9421, which is not publicly available. I am requesting this file, as Mr. Kozai has long since passed away, but he was the Japanese teacher in Nanaimo, B.C. before WWII. I am writing a history about the Japanese Canadian community in Nanaimo before WWII.
