Request Summary: Please provide the number of asylum seekers (number of persons) deemed ineligible to claim refugee status in Canada pursuant to section 101(1)(e) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, in conjunction with section 159.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (STCA ineligibility), for each calendar year starting in 2004. For the year 2021, please provide partial data up to the date of this request (2021-10-01). A similar request was previously submitted to CBSA. I received the reply The STCA database and dataset is a program in which IRCC is the owner.
