Request Summary: We request detailed information on all start-up visa applications received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) offices worldwide between January 2020 and October 2023. Specifically, the data requested are as follows: 1) All checklists, guidelines etc. available to an officer to evaluate an application for a Work Permit (WP) and Permanent Residency (PR) Application under the Startup Visa Program; 2) The total number of start-up visa applications every calendar year during the stated period, broken down by country of residence, destination province, designated organization¿ 3) Number of PR Applications under the Start Up Business Program, (broken down by types of received, processed, approved, refused, withdrawn) by Destination Province, Citizenship and Organization every calendar year from 2020 to September 2023 4) Permanent Resident Refusal Grounds under the Start Up Visa Application Category from 2020 to September 2023 in Instances* 5¿Number of WP applications (received, processed, approved, refused, withdrawn) by Destination Province, Citizenship and Organization every calendar year from 2020 to September 2023 6) The statistic on the WP and PR Approval and rejection Rates every calendar year since 2020. 7) Number of Peer Review Cases by country of residence, province, designated organization every calendar year since 2020, as well as their respective PR approval rate and rejection reasons.
