He was born in Galicia in 1900 and immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1910. He lived and worked in Taber, Alberta, Lethbridge, and Medicine Hat. Mr. Capton was likely a member of the Communist Party in the 1930s and 1940s and possibly beyond. He died on November 17, 1968 in Taber, Alberta.
