Request Summary: Please provide all documents, including drafts, from July 9, 2019 to the present (November 2, 2020), respecting the 88th Report of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs, concerning the presumed passage of Bill C-71 and government communications on legislation before Parliament, the Government’s subsequent response thereto, and the implementation of the Government’s commitments. Please exclude (1) memoranda to Cabinet and aides-memoire for Cabinet consideration, (2) Treasury Board submissions, (3) speaking notes or decks for presentations to Cabinet or its committees, (4) briefing notes and covering memoranda concerning records in categories (1) to (3), (5) duplicate copies of e-mails (i.e., exclude earlier messages in a thread of e-mails if a later message contains the earlier message(s)), (6) publicly available versions of government documents (i.e., do not exclude drafts of those documents), (7) the French version of documents which are equally available in each official language, and (8) copies of draft legislative texts. Exclude portions of responsive records which contain off-topic information.
