The following request relates to a memo dated December 29, 2004 to the Warden of Nova Institution from ADCO with the subject “Strip-Searching of Offenders leaving the institution”. For ease of reference, I have enclosed a copy of the memo. In the second paragraph, the memo states: “a subsequent review of this question has been conducted at the national level, in concert with the Correctional Investigators office”. The “question” is the strip-searching of offenders leaving the institution. I request a copy of all documents related to this review of the question of strip-searching offenders when leaving an institution, as referenced in this memo.
