Information about long-term care for veterans in New Brunswick. First, I would like information on the long-term care waitlist for veterans in NB from the beginning of 2010 until today, including: overall numbers, average wait times, breakdowns for gender, eligibility type (contract, preferred, etc), and any other relevant data. Second, I would like data about the beds in the Veterans Health Unit in Fredericton and the Ridgewood Veterans Health Wing in Saint John from the beginning of 2010 until today, including: occupancy rates, number of bed days used, bed days available, percentage of beds used, number of vacant bed days, percentage of bed days available, and any other relevant data. All of these numbers should be broken down by bed type (contract, preferred, etc). Third and last, I would like any information VAC has relating to demographic trends and forecasting for veterans and long-term care needs in New Brunswick and/or the Atlantic region. Specifically, what are the projected number of veterans (broken down by gender and service type) that will be living in New Brunswick and the region in the coming years?

Previously received from the PBC in response to an ATIP (PBC File:A-2020-00019): "On March 19,2020,the Federal Court declared the transitional provisions of amendments to section 4 of the CRA, namely, section 10 of the Limited Pardons of Serious Crimes Act and section 161 of the Safe Streets and Communities Act, unconstitutional. The Court concluded that these provisions infringed on subsections 11(h) and 11(i) of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom because they add to the punishment imposed at sentencing and deprived applicants of the benefit of the lesser punishment available at the time the offense was committed. In light of the above, the PBC no longer applies retrospectively legislative amendments made to the CRA in 2010 and 2012 (as it relates to eligibility periods and criteria) for all record suspension applicants who committed their most recent offence prior to the coming into force of these changes. The number of affected applications is significant. "Request: Please provide the aggregate totals for each year, commencing with 2012 to the present, for Pardons granted by the PBC for "individuals whose most recent offence occurred no later than March 12 2012, (and) were processed as pardon applications under the applicable version of the CRA "Format : A table similar to that provided in response to PBC ATIP File:A-2020-00019 would be suitable.

Under the Access to Information Act, I would like to obtain the following information: 1- The details related to the training of new Quebec Board members from 2010 to 2020. In other words, has the Board used external services for the training of Board members? If so, what are these companies or individuals? What is the nature of the contracts awarded? What is the cost of the contracts? How were the contracts awarded (public tenders, invitations to tender, by private tender, etc.)? 2- Details of the costs associated with the relocation of new Quebec Board members from 2010 to 2020. What are the costs related to the purchase or rental of houses or apartments, as well as moving costs, paid by the government? To which companies? What are the cities of departure and arrival of the moves? 3- What is the detailed nature of the "professional and specialized services", as stated in the financial reports from 2012 to 2020? How much was spent on what service? I want to receive this information digitally, in a format that can be read by Excel (machine readable).
