On weekend prior to August 1, 1974 a pharmacy located in the Professional Building in Thompson, Manitoba was broken into. On the weekend prior to August 6, 1974 two (2) men were taken into custody by the RCMP in connection with the break-in. A story in the Thompson Citizen from August 6, 1974, entitled 'R.C.M.P. Seize Drugs - 2 Held' mentions that the RCMP were investigating other possible offences involving those men. During the break-in the two (2) men took hostage and we are attempting to learn the identities of the men.
