Directorate of History and Heritage J V Allard Fonds 84/126 files 27 and 43 for correspondence from Military Attache to Ottawa concerning a German scientist working on heavy water in the USSR contacting J V Allard as stated in his memoirs on page 138 this would be in the time frame of 1946-1949.. The CIA report states that two German scientists approached the Canadian embassy in the 1946-1948 time period.
