I am seeking any and all records related to John Daniel Tanner, born in Nova Scotia on February 22, 1917. He died in Toronto, Ontario on March 17, 1985 .https://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/lbrr/archives/rcmp-rrcmp-1940-eng.pdf (see page 124). It is our understanding that he may have had an extensive criminal record, RCMP indicated that Library and Archives Canada likely hold records pertaining to him. We would very much like to see any records pertaining to the December 14, 1938 arrest and subsequent court case, as well as anything else that may be found for him.Organization: Library and Archives Canada
