Good day I am applying for copies of all records associated with the naturalisation of Cozma Balan. This request is being made under the Access to Information. Cozma Balan DOB: Not certain but believed to be either June 17, 1906 or July 1, 1906 Place of Birth: Romania. We are not aware of either his Citizenship or naturalisation certificate numbers. Cozma’s father George was himself naturalised April 21, 1924. A record of which is available on the Library and Archives Canada website, in case that aids in the search. He passed away in 1984

As such, the following info is sought: 1. A-2019-01341. “Statistical data. Provide year by year (i.e. fiscal or calendar year) breakdown of the combined regular and reserve military personnel strength of the DND/CAF from 1960 to 2018. The breakdown should indicate authorized strength, actual strength, recruitment gains, and release or retirement losses.” 2. A-2019-01342. Paraphrased. Statistical data. Provide year by year (i.e. fiscal or calendar year) breakdown of major DND capital acquisition/procurements from 1960 to 2018. The breakdown should indicate the initial budgetary allocation, date of project initiation, date of project closeout, total expenses at the time of project closeout (excluding costs related to repairs, refits and maintenance beyond initial life expectancy). Of note, the breakdown should also indicate where acquisitions/procurements were directly tied to statements/commitments associated with the release of a defence policy to include: Defence in the 70s, Challenge and Commitment: A Defence Policy for Canada, 1994 Defence White Paper, 2005 International Policy Statement: A Role of Pride and Influence in the World, 2008 Canada First Defence Strategy, and 2017 Strong, Secure, Engaged: Canada's Defence Policy.
